New-look EUROCALL website

The EUROCALL website has been extensively redesigned, so that users can find relevant information quicker and easier than in the old design, to allow for future expansion of site content, and to increase the site's accessibility towards users with disabilities.

Technicalities

The new design uses Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) extensively, both for text appearance and layer positioning. This has major advantages over more 'traditional' layout methods in terms of future maintenance and redesign, accessibility, flexibility and standards-compliance. The use of images has been kept to a minimum to speed page loading, and unordered lists have been used to implement the navigation bars.
